Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It would be very convenient to have the router treat recorded tracks no differently than bike or foot paths, except with very high priority. This way, when I am biking to a plaza far away, I don't have to constantly add stops to keep riding along familiar roads.
Describe the ideal solution
A clear and concise description of what you want to see in Organic Maps.
Again, this should be treated like a bike or foot path with high priority. That means when navigating to a place along the track, but not at either end, the router can cut the track short.
The priority should be such that it does not matter how much time using the track adds, but rather you should not be traveling 20min to take a 1min segment of track. I don't care if it adds 30min to the overall route, I'm taking familiar roads to explicitly avoid the shortest route. If I want the best route, I can turn the feature off.
This should be toggleable under Routing Preferences, called "Prioritize recorded tracks" or similar. If this is off, track priority is always zero.
As for the narrator, when using a segment of track, she can say "Ride along the track [track name] for [x] miles." X is the distance between where you are and when you get off the track. When you get off the track, the narrator will either tell you to turn left, right, or continue straight along whatever road.
This way, you don't have to try to align the track to whatever roads. After all, you recorded the track, you must be familiar with it.
(I understand that trying to align the track to whatever road is extremely complex, so that's why the narrator basically shuts down for segments of track.)
Describe alternatives you have considered
I actually add points along the track whenever routing deviates from it
Additional context
This feature should not be available for cars because cars do not navigate like bikes or pedestrians. People rarely use the concept of "familiar roads" to explicitly avoid taking the shortest route when driving.
