It looks like the search results are based on your location (being close to Hamburg) but matching the search query should be more important than getting a random nearby result which matches parts of the query words.
Have you implemented a feature that tries to show a result even when you mistyped something? Maybe this feature should be limited to exchanging letters only, not words (e.g. mistyped "Hambrug" instead of "Hamburg").

Thanks! Does the behavior change if you look at these addresses on the screen at different zoom levels?

Just checked, the results will change depending on the current center of the map. So when I center Middelsbur, it will suggest the correct result when I type "Spegel", but when I center the city of Berlin, it won't. No changes at different zoom levels, the only important change happens with what place is in the center of the map.

@vng so the issue is that the algo does not search properly in other places for the exact match.
