E.g. zoom in and out of this complex shape reservoir: 37.541135, 30.082121

The shape never changes. Compare to patches of forests around - their shape is changed according to the zoom level.

Its caused by a bbox_area style selector introduced in 2015.

area|z10-[natural=water][bbox_area>=4000000]

It requires a GetLimitRect call, which is carried out for the best geometry always (see drules_selector.cpp::GetBoundingBoxArea()), hence this geometry is re-used for the rendering later. The current zoom level param is not passed there from drawing_rules.cpp::TestFeature().
(I've checked that geometry is generated and present in the map files for all levels indeed)

Possible solutions:

  1. refactor the code to pass the zoom level param
  2. remove the bbox_area selector completely - at the moment its being used to control display of waterbodies captions only - maybe we can use some other way to achieve similar effect? e.g. priorities and the icons/captions displacement mechanism
