No changes in terms of content. Made some sentences easier to read and made them sound less like a translation and more like text written originally in German. Also some sentences had misleading meaning, eg. "Detaillierte Offline-Karten mit Orten, die dank OpenStreetMap.org auf anderen Karten nicht zu finden sind" which could be understood as OpenStreetMap.org actively preventing other maps from being as good as OpenStreetMap itself.

Only changes I am unsure about are "Geringer Speicheranspruch durch effiziente Kartendaten" and "Kein ungewolltes anfunken von externen Servern" because I am not sure what exactly the message is that is supposed to be transmitted.

Translation is looser and not so strict to the original but it reads much nicer.

"Countries and regions don't take a lot of space" means that maps are well compressed and don't take as much free device space as, for example, image-based maps.

Okay, in this case I would leave my change as is, "effiziente Kartendaten" (efficient map data) conveys the message of them being well compressed.

If you open the German wikipedia page of the one you linked "Telemetrie" is being used instead of phoning home. I feel that is a more technical term than "anfunken". I think my change is an improvement, but maybe someone can find something even better.
As it is now "Telefonieren nach Hause" I think is more associated with the movie ET, because in the German version the alien says a very similar sentence ("ET nach Hause telefonieren") that has nothing to do with the intended message of the sentence.

I quite like Kein "Telefonieren nach Hause" as a reference to the E.T. movie, even if users may need to be 30+ years old to get it.
To prevent younger audiences from confusing this with some kind of limitation of the app not being able to call home, I suggest Kein "Telefonieren nach Hause" oder unerwünschte Telemetrie.

If the reference is wanted here, I would do it correctly. E.T. said "E.T. nach Hause telefonieren" not "telefonieren nach Hause". the latter just sounds badly translated.

What I meant is that the reference actually does make it understandable. However, not for everyone, thus the telemetry addendum.

I feel like "Keine automatische Datenübertragung" is an improvement for now.

Something happening automatically doesn't mean it's unwanted.
