Criteria
Search Page

Just below the search box, display the map names which are currently downloaded to the phone, to indicate the search for POIs will be conducted only on those maps. On the right side, have a link named "Maps" which opens the maps page to see all the maps.
Remove tabs for "HISTORY" and "CATEGORIES" and place the categories above the keyboard, at the bottom of the search history.
Below search box and above search history, add label "Recent Searches"
Update icon on for each search history row, to a search icon.
For the "Clear Search History" button, remove the "X" icon, make the button the same color and size as the "Hide All" button/link in Bookmarks and Tracks.

Search Typeahead Suggestions

When starting to type, display the typeahead suggestions before the search results. The typeahead is mostly useful as suggestions before the search is actually done, results are typically much more useful than typeahead suggestions. (If this is a significant amount of work, it can be spun off as a separate issue).

Search results page

When receiving a list of search results after pressing the Search button, show the default view of both the list of locations and the map with the locations, at the same time.
The list can be swiped up to show more results for only list, or swiped down for only the map, or to split screen.
Split screen view: display the first 3 search results. Scrolling the list will show more results, while staying in split screen.
Remove the address from the search results row, which is located below the Category. (People rarely know the address of the place they are looking for, or need to know the address in the search list. Right now the address is taking up valuable vertical space, which can be used to show more results).

Map

The search results circles on the map should be bigger to be more visible, and display the category icon of the place. Need to determine if the color of the circles should continue to be blue, or the color of the category.
When the map is moved to a different area, display a button called "Search here". When the button is pressed, update search results in the list and on the map.

Route
Selecting a POI from search results, doing "Route To" and pressing the back arrow left button at top left - clears to main screen instead of going back. It needs to go back to the POI which was selected.
