As a long time OsmAnd user I am quite pleased with your map displays. You are much better at showing me really important things like the name of the country I am looking at. You are also better at displaying names of natural geography (lakes, rivers, etc.).

But there is a way you could be better: Dynamic detail display thresholds.

It appears that you have detail thresholds according to zoom levels. That is, don't display this kind of road unless the display is zoomed in to such-and-such a level. This doesn't work well when looking at largely empty regions. If there are no major roads to display when zoomed out, then display more minor roads. And if there are no minor roads, show barely passable dirt paths. Similarly, if I am looking at a hiking trail and I zoom out, don't make the trail disappear (or nearly so) if there is nothing else contending to be displayed in that part of the map.

I don't think this only applies in empty regions, even if I am looking at a buildup area with lots of highways, if there is a section of the map that is only crossed by a minor road (maybe the locals didn't want their houses torn down for a freeway) don't leave that area blank, not unless you have something better to display there.

Mostly your map drawing is very good, and quite fast. You don't have as many features as does OsmAnd, but what you do have works better. Please keep your UI clean! (I get into modes in OsmAnd I can't figure out how to get out of. Over a year ago I dropped some flag destination thing and it is still plaguing me.)
