Related to #1578

  1. Disable wifi/cellular data, enable flight mode. Leave location enabled.
  2. Reboot the phone to clear location cache.
  3. Set a lower screen lock time to easier/faster reproduce the issue (e.g. 15 or 30 seconds).
  4. Make sure "keep screen on" setting in OM is disabled (off, it's a default value).
  5. Put the phone under some metal cover indoors so the GPS location can not be found quickly (in reality, GPS search may take up to several minutes depending on location and conditions outside).
  6. Launch OM. Start looking for the position (it may start automatically or a location button should be pressed).
  7. Observe that the screen is locked while position is not found yet. It means that user needs to unlock the phone and continue detecting satellites from scratch.

Note 1: Despite the "keep screen on" setting being turned off, the case above is unexpected for a user who actively waits when location will be detected. It is important to note that this behavior is the default for a new OM installation, for every new OM user, who may not know that this setting exists in OM.

Note 2: This is marked as regression compared to November 2023 and earlier releases, where the default "keep screen on" setting value was "on" (enabled) by default.
