👋 I'm a software engineer and organic maps user who's dockerised/containerised a few open-source projects. If it's helpful, I'm happy to try dockerising the build process outlined in the installation doc.

How does this benefit Organic Maps?

It would mean anyone on any platform can get the app up and running with a single command without having to run the build process and get it working for their specific system architecture
It will run more reliably in more places with much less work
Docker images would also help with decentralisation by giving users/developers another way to download and use the app
You can use the docker image as the base of a devcontainer which can make cross-platform development easier eg in VSCode

Describe the ideal solution

A Dockerfile would be added to the repository and built docker images could be hosted for free on Docker Hub or GitHub Container Registry.

✅ I've searched for issues related to docker and only found this comment. I can see there's a small amount of docker-related stuff in the repo but I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that there isn't for the main app build process.
