I have searched for similar, already existing issues and read related articles.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
From what I read, currently GPX traces have to be manually exported as gpx(/kml), then manually uploaded to openstreetmap.org. This is inefficient if you're an OpenStreetMap contributor, or want to improve the map data indirectly.

Describe the ideal solution
If not yet possible,

allow to export manually directly to OpenStreetMap.
allow to export automatically directly to OpenStreetMap on some regular basis (refer to how other apps have done this).

If this feature is not planned, please comment on the reason for this decision so others can be made aware of it.

Sidenote: Simplify GPX traces if needed / limit export to prevent database clutter
Also, unlike in the video linked here bushwack trails should preferably not be uploaded, unless it is an established informal path; see also United States Trails initiative.
