Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I'd like to propose a way to simplify track recording completion.
When selecting the menu item “Finish track recording” - the track should be immediately saved with a generated title containing the save date/time. No additional window like “Save Tags and Tracks ?” should appear.
This approach will reduce user actions by one step and eliminate the risk of accidentally erasing a track recorded in memory but not saved (in case the user made a mistake when selecting a button).
The risk of the user accidentally interrupting the recording is negligible. He can just as easily continue recording by pressing a button and then merge the tracks together.
Possibly accompany both actions with an audio signal like "Start recording/Recording completed".
