  The attached APK has been hotfixed with http://git2.omaps.dev/organicmaps/organicmaps/-/merge_requests/7359 and http://git2.omaps.dev/organicmaps/organicmaps/-/merge_requests/7363 applied on the top of the original source tree to support installation alongside with versions of app stores. All further releases of universal ("web") APKs here will use the new app.organicmaps.web Android Application ID instead of app.organicmaps to distinguish from versions distributed by app stores.

  If you've been using one of the previous "web" releases, please kindly install the new APK alongside the old version and then use Bookmarks -> Export file button to share (migrated) your bookmarks into the new version.   Android users of Lineage OS, Graphene OS, Calyx OS, and other "ungoogled" ROMs are highly encouraged to use the Aurora Store to stay up to date with the latest updates without compromising privacy. This is a more convenient way of getting Organic Maps updated than downloading APK manually. No Google Services and/or a Google Account are required.

  People, who have doubts that legacy centralized app stores controlled by opinionated third-parties have any future, can liberate themselves by using Obtanium tool for getting automatic updates from APKs. Obtanium tool allows you to get the app and OpenStreetMap data updates immediately as they are released by the development team, no middlemen involved. The team is working on adding automatic updates into the app itself.

  All official versions of Organic Maps from Google Play, Huawei, and universal APK here are almost identical and absolutely secure. Organic Maps is a free and open-source Android app that doesn't track you. Disclaimer: your phone can still track your location if Google Services are installed on the device and "High Accuracy Location" is not explicitly disabled in the system settings.

  As always, Organic Maps remains free, open-source, and entirely devoid of ads and trackers.
