better to use easily imaginable, rough values like "in half a mile" or "in a quarter of a mile" than exact distances.

I have no idea on how people are used to imperial metrics (where to truncate), but how would you approximate those strings to miles, @RedAuburn? Just in quarters, and the rest in feet?

"in_50_feet":"In fifty feet",
"in_100_feet":"In one hundred feet",
"in_200_feet":"In two hundred feet",
"in_300_feet":"In three hundred feet",
"in_400_feet":"In four hundred feet",
"in_500_feet":"In five hundred feet",
"in_600_feet":"In six hundred feet",
"in_700_feet":"In seven hundred feet",
"in_800_feet":"In eight hundred feet",
"in_900_feet":"In nine hundred feet",
"in_1000_feet":"In one thousand feet",
"in_1500_feet":"In fifteen hundred feet",
"in_2000_feet":"In two thousand feet",
"in_2500_feet":"In twenty five hundred feet",
"in_3000_feet":"In three thousand feet",
"in_3500_feet":"In thirty five hundred feet",
"in_4000_feet":"In four thousand feet",
"in_4500_feet":"In forty five hundred feet",
"in_5000_feet":"In five thousand feet",

Checked here, files that are supposed to be changed:

I don't know anyone who can visualize more than about 100 feet: in America we know that a football field is 100 yards (300 feet) and so visualizing 100-1000 feet is probably best done in yards. 1325 feet is a quarter mile which most drivers have a vague instinct for.

I've heard up to 200 feet and as small as 1/8 or 1/10 of a mile, but those aren't common phrases where I live. "5000 feet" is ludicrous in my personal opinion, since that's basically a mile but people don't usually have that fact memorized.
