Steps to reproduce

  1. Select a point on the map
  2. Tap "add a place" / "add an organization"
  3. The crosshair will be thrown in a random place

Expected behaviour
Map should center on the tapped point so that the fixed crosshair centers on it

  • Android 14
  • Organic Maps version: 2024.08.25-15
  • Device Model: Samsung Galaxy S23

Additional context
Same happens e.g. on Xperia E5 with Android 6.

I see something very similar on iOS (Organic Maps version: ⁦2024.08.15-16⁩).

The position jumps to a nearby-but-different location when I tap “Add place to OpenStreetMap”.

Sometimes the map first jumps to the right position an then moves somewhere else again. So this looks like different functions are working against each other.
