Yes scrolling around on the map but it takes more time and is not so good in stressful situations.

When navigating the metro system it is a bit tougher to understand which direction to take from a metro line.

Describe the ideal solution

When having metro routing it would be very helpful to also have some kind of list view that gives more information about the lines.
I would like to see something where it shows for each metro line that is part of the trip the direction of the line and the stops in between.
It also could show the distance to walk on foot.

This could look something like this:

  • Walk to stop X(5 min, 500m)
  • Take Line 8 (Some end stop)
    • Stop X
    • Stop in between 1
    • Stop in between 2
    • Stop Y
  • Take Line 10 (Some end stop)
    • Stop Y
    • Stop Z
  • Walk to destination name

Additionally during walk passages it would be nice to have some form of proper turn by turn navigation.

Describe alternatives you have considered
Google.maps handles this quite well:
