It's inspiring to know that what we do helps people. Organic Maps is great for many outdoor activities, including hiking. If you are considering the Alps 🏔 for mountain hiking, you can turn to the experts on this subject: [The Hiking Club](https://www.thehiking.club/). They have a successful history of preparing and planning for long mountain trips.
[The Hiking Club recommends Organic Maps](https://www.thehiking.club/blog/the-hiking-club-partners-with-organic-maps) to all their clients, so they can easily import a thoroughly prepared KML file with all significant features and descriptions. And that's great, because the most important thing in the mountains is not to get lost, and to save your device's battery. And here we are (in our humble opinion 😉) the best!
It is easy to import/open bookmarks and tracks/trails in Organic Maps. Select KML or KMZ file (zipped KML), then "Open with..." and select Organic Maps app. Or, for Android, you can select "Import Bookmarks" from Bookmarks dialog, and then choose a drive or a folder with your KML/KMZ. By the way, GPX support is also planned.

Приятно осознавать, что то, что мы делаем, помогает людям. Organic Maps прекрасно подходит для разных активностей, в том числе для походов по горам. Если вам интересны Альпы, тогда можно обратиться к экспертам по этому вопросу: [The Hiking Club](https://www.thehiking.club/). Ребята давно уже занимаются подготовкой и планированием длительных путешествий по Альпам. Теперь [The Hiking Club рекомендует](https://www.thehiking.club/blog/the-hiking-club-partners-with-organic-maps) всем своим клиентам Organic Maps. И это здорово, потому что самое важное в горах — не заблудиться, и сэкономить заряд батареи вашего устройства. А здесь мы (по нашему скромному мнению 😉) лучшие!
Импортировать метки и треки в Organic Maps очень просто. Выберите KML или KMZ файл (заархивированный с помощью zip KML), затем "Открыть с помощью..." и выберите приложение Organic Maps. Или, для Android, вы можете выбрать "Импортировать метки" в диалоге Меток, а затем выбрать диск или папку с вашими KML/KMZ. Кстати, поддержку формата GPX мы тоже планируем добавить.
