New UI for switching map styles and options #6269

As we plan to have several map styles tailored to different activities #1577 we need a way to switch between them.

We have public transport (subway) and altitude isolines "layers" button already.
So its logical to rework / expand it to add map styles.

"Outdoors" map style #4247 is the first to be added and maybe just one extra button will be enough for now, but we need to make the design future proof to add more styles later (incl. support for user custom styles).

The first question is how main <-> outdoors styles switcher should interact with existing isolines and subway layers controls.

One option is to leave them independent as they're now, hence it'll be possible to enable/disable those layers in any style.
Cons: subway layer is not useful for outdoors; most people will use the outdoors style together with isolines always.

Another option is e.g. rework to just three options:

  • main style
  • subway layer over main style
  • outdoors style with isolines
Cons: not possible to add isolines to the main style; adding e.g. cycling style will pose similar question again (should it include isolines always or they should be switchable?).

Any help with design, UI mock-ups and implementation (Android and iOS) are much appreciated!
